EO Technics delivered a standout first quarter in 2026, with consolidated revenue climbing 35.7% year-on-year to ₩115.1 billion as surging demand for laser marking and dicing equipment in advanced semiconductor back-end packaging drove operating leverage well beyond what volume growth alone would explain. Operating profit nearly doubled to ₩29.8 billion, expanding the operating margin from 17.1% to 25.9% — an 8.8 percentage-point improvement achieved in a single quarter. Net profit surged 115.2% to ₩31.2 billion, further lifted by ₩10.1 billion in foreign exchange translation gains on the company's substantial USD-denominated asset base. The cost-of-revenue ratio contracted 6.1 percentage points to 61.2%, reflecting not merely the arithmetic of higher volumes against a fixed-cost base but a qualitative mix shift toward higher-specification HBM wafer processing equipment. With AI-driven semiconductor capital expenditure cycles continuing to accelerate, EO Technics is operating squarely in the demand sweet spot for its core laser lineup, and Q1 2026 demonstrates the financial impact of that positioning.
