About LineVest

Independent. Primary-sourced. English.

LineVest reads U.S. corporate filings the way they were actually filed. 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, audited statements — primary-sourced reporting for investors who want the document, not the headline.

Most U.S. market coverage is written from press releases and earnings calls — the version a company chose to tell you. The 10-K says more, and it says it under penalty of law. What actually matters is usually in the footnotes, the risk factors, and the line items nobody quotes.

Every LineVest article starts where the press release stops: at the filing itself. I read the source documents in full, pull the figures straight from the audited statements, and explain what changed and why it matters — with the accounting context that turns a number into a signal.

The editor

MinJeKim — Editor-in-Chief and Founder, LineVest. Three years of full-time analysis of corporate disclosures, IR materials, and audited financial statements. Background in International Trade and Commerce, Halla University — not Wall Street, not a sell-side desk. I learned financial reporting the way a working investor has to: by reading hundreds of filings, IR decks, and audited statements line by line.

That trajectory is the foundation of LineVest's editorial independence. No institutional employer dictates a coverage list. No corporate client shapes the narrative. No buy/sell mandate dresses disclosures up with a recommendation.

Primary sources only.

Every figure is cited to its SEC filing date and accession number. Readers can verify any claim by opening the same document I read.

Human editorial judgment.

I read the source documents in full, extract what matters, and supply the accounting context that most coverage skips.

Corrections in public.

When something is wrong, it gets corrected openly — not quietly edited away.

Not an investment advisor.

LineVest is editorial journalism, not investment advice. No buy/sell recommendations, no brokerage affiliation.

Not a sponsored platform.

No brokerage payroll, no sell-side mandate, no compensated coverage. The companies covered do not pay for it, and never will.
